PT#2 ICT as medium for advocacy- Angelo blogspot. How Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Has Transformed Educational MethodologiesBack in Grade School1. National Anthem – We lined up every morning and sang the national anthem while our teachers guided us. 2. Concept Notes – Our teachers wrote lessons on the blackboard, and we copied them by hand in our notebooks. 3. Presentation of Visual Aids – Teachers used cartolina, manila paper, and handwritten drawings to explain lessons. 4. Class Records and Dismissal – Teachers manually recorded attendance and grades in a logbook. The bell signaled the end of classes. 5. Assignments and Research – Assignments were written on paper, and research was done using books from the library. Now in Senior High School (SHS) 1. National Anthem – We sometimes sing the national anthem through a virtual or recorded version, especially during online classes. 2. Concept Notes – Instead of writing everything by hand, we receive digital notes from teachers or take pictures of whiteboard discussions. 3. Presentation of Visual Aids – Teachers use PowerPoint presentations, videos, and interactive apps to explain lessons. 4. Class Records and Dismissal – Attendance and grades are recorded digitally in learning management systems, and class dismissal can be announced online. 5. Assignments and Research– We complete assignments digitally, submit them through email or online platforms, and use search engines and e-books for research.
